Florence Biennale 2019

From September 21-29th 2019 the Gallery will be showcasing a selection of paintings at the Biennale Internazionale dell’Antiquariato di Firenze.

The most longstanding and prestigious Old Master Paintings and Antiques event in Italy has now got to its 60th edition and promises to be particularly lively this year! For this appointment, Dr. Di Penta has decided to display mainly works by artists active for the Medici Court, alongside Neapolitan Baroque and works of the Grand Tour.

Paintings by Andrea Commodi, Baccio del Bianco, Orazio Fidani, Livio Mehus and important furniture by Leonardo van der Vinne will thence be showcased at stand 75 alongside paintings and drawings by Roman and Neapolitan artists of the XVII-XVIIIth centuries like Gargiulo, Cavallino, Bonavia, Hackert, and Jan Franz van Bloemen.
